She co-chairs EPOCH-USA and is the founder of SpankOut Day USA April 30th. She is a retired school psychologist and has worked to end corporal punishment in schools for over 25 years.

SB 689 which would ban kicking, shaking punching,choking and other harsh punishments of children will be heard in a MD Senate Committee on Wednesday March 3. It's a start in giving children more protection from physical harm.
