What exactly am I saying?

Are you worried about the Presidential election?
Here are some thoughtful questions
To keep focused on irrelevance,
To keep our brains busy,

Our wits detached
So we don't slip into the basket of deplorables
Or any other sorry basket
As we approach the day of reckoning.

How deep is the ocean?
How high is the sky?
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?

How many holes does it take to fill the Albert Hall?
Where does a circle start?
How can wooden ships sink?
Why do "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean the same thing?

When you fill up a hole, is the hole full, or is it no longer a hole?
Or does the answer depend on what is filling it?
Do "My name is Gary" and "Gary is my name"
Mean the same thing?

Where is the proof that Humpty Dumpty was an egg?
If I say our system is "out of whack"
What exactly am I saying?
And finally: If Humpty Dumpty fell off a wall today,

Could we put him back together again?
And would we, if he wasn't insured?
