"The big question now," Dave Jette recently asked in OpEd News, "...is: Are we going to continue to support a Democratic Party that no longer represents our interests or will we stand up to mount some sort of challenge outside of the two-party duopoly?"
.
This suggests that we don't know what's good for ourselves, that we're betraying ourselves by reducing our choices to the lesser of evils. This challenge requires an examination, including questions not only of our choices, but of our values, of our integrity, of our moral courage.

.
Giving up before the candidates are nominated, before the votes are counted, is solid strategy?
.
Can't chance going for the gold when chrome plated lead is guaranteed?

There are no lesser winners. Lessers are simply volunteer losers.
.
We really do want to, need to win, don't we? We can muster the political courage, the integrity of action consistent with our values, can't we? Or is Republican Light good enough?
.
About 2012: Should we consider a Lesser Lesser-Evil, or a More Lesser-Evil? Is a puzzlement. Or dare we opt for an intelligent, straightforward, decent candidate who will decently and courageously (imagine!) represent the best interests of the bottom 311 million of our of our 312 million citizens?
.
We need to think hard over this. This is bigger than the next election. This is about our future, and our children's. Or even whether or not we'll have a future.
Leaving behind a treacherous government now addicted to perpetual war, its limitlessly greedy and power-lusting masters, as well as the retarded albeit smirky Republicans and their evermore clonish Democrat colleagues, a braindead electorate (
