Keep the pressure on CBS: Pick
up the phone and call CBS out on their hypocrisy in accepting an
anti-choice ad after rejecting other advocacy spots.
Thanks for being one
of more than 142,000 CREDO Action members who signed the petition
calling on CBS to reject the anti-choice Super Bowl ad paid for by
Focus on the Family. We delivered all of your signatures and asked for
a response, but so far, CBS has given no indication they will listen
to our voices.
Since CBS has
rejected many progressive advocacy spots in the past - and has
rejected a gay dating site's ad this year - we must keep the
pressure on CBS to not let their hypocritical decision
stand.
In the past, CBS
wouldn't allow a group to criticize Bush, wouldn't let a religious
group promote its own tolerance of LGBT families and considers a
light-hearted dating ad out of bounds. But CBS is perfectly happy to
allow Focus on the Family to promote its conservative social agenda to
nearly 100 million Americans this Sunday.

standing up to anti-choice hypocrisy.
