President Barack Obama said during Hu Jin Tao's visit to DC Wednesday that China's peaceful rise is "good for the world, and it's good for America." This statement is a laugh in the face of reality and a sarcastic middle finger to Americans who have lost their jobs to Chinese slave labor, as well as the Chinese slaves themselves...many of whom have been imprisoned and killed by China's repressive Communist government.
Writing like their counterparts in third world dictatorships, trying to portray Dear Leader as a bold figure so he isn't overshadowed by a foreign rival with the upper-hand status of creditor nation, many mainstream news writers are making a heroic mountain out of Obama's mild lip-service to the issue of human rights in the presence of President Hu. In the meantime, China saturates Western markets with cheap products made in rundown factories by peasants, laced with dangerous toxins, and...in the case of cosmetics...the body parts of executed prisoners. To say that China exploits its people is an understatement when you study how freakishly gruesome the fates of many of its people are. For example, 20/20 did a special report a couple years ago exploring why the plastic coated bodies of the "Bodies Exhibit" show done around the world (in which cadavers are put on display in funny poses) had so many young and fit dead people as subjects. The conclusion was that it was very likely that the people on display were executed Chinese prisoners, their final disgraces being that they were mutilated and put on a pedestal for foreign tourists to gawk at.
While the White House, DHS, CIA, and Pentagon launch wars in small nations to fight goat herders and petty local warlords, and while the mainstream media plays up make believe threats like Iran's hypothetical nuclear weapons as precursor to Armageddon, China is expanding its empire around the world, now stationing troops in North Korea, which allegedly sunk a South Korean ship last year and is constantly engaged in hostilities with its hated southern neighbor and the United States military protecting it.
China now controls the world's supply of rare earth minerals needed to make high-tech weapons and other important products despite the fact that the United States has a sufficient supply of rare earth minerals within its own borders. The rare earth processing industry of the United States defected to China years ago and according to a GAO report for the Pentagon and the Department of Energy, it would take fifteen years at the very least to rebuild the industry if we tried. China has already used the threat of halting rare earth exports in disputes with the United States and Japan. If any foreign country poses a national security threat to the United States China is it, not only because of its control of important industries but also because of our government's reliance on it. China's ability to bring America to its knees by refusing to buy treasuries is outlined perfectly in the video "The Day the Dollar Died" put out by the National Inflation Association.
In reality, even if "drone strike" Obama really cared about human rights, he would have no leverage to push the issue. Seeing the red carpet rolled out in front of the White House today for America's Communist conqueror should make it clear to everyone -- on paper, the Chinese own us. Though some politicians may openly lament this fact, the greater majority of them welcome it, with the leadership of America having decided long ago that rather than defeating tyranny it would be more lucrative to embrace it. In the process they've sold America out, and are putting chains around the necks of our children as we enter a future of economic bondage.
