Now NBC is crapping their pants that Trump is going after the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of the press by forcing Trump critic and fact-teller Bob Costas out the door in spite of his contract that goes through 2021.

Trump, like the six-year-old Anthony Fremont in the Twilight Zone episode, It's A Good Life, believes he has godlike mental powers, including mind-reading.

"Everybody is under Anthony's [Trump's] rule. The people live in fear of him, constantly telling him how everything he does is "good," since he banishes anyone thinking unhappy thoughts into the otherworldly "cornfield" from which there is no return." .imdb.com/title/tt0734580

Never having any form of self-discipline, Trump does not understand or even care that his actions are the antithesis of the tenets and principles laid down by the Founders who penned the U.S. Constitution 230 years ago. In his own words Trump sneered at that document calling it, "archaic" and it's "really a bad thing for the country."

The totalitarian Trump doesn't have a clue why these recalcitrant countries and their leaders won't accept that his addled tweets are divine and therefore inviolate. He is dismayed that his executive orders, senseless and destructive trade tariffs are dismissed by the civilized world and nations who respect and honor the rule of law. They view Trump as a sociopath and erratic laughing stock who believes that he has been endowed with unearthly powers.

On meeting George W. Bush for the first time, Chinese President Jiang Zemin described him as "Logically unsound, confused and unprincipled, unwise to the extreme."

Enter the next ignorant but far more racist Republican descendant of the Oval Office, Donald Trump, whoremonger, adulterer, draft dodger, conspirer and colluder with his Russian despot friend Vladimir Putin to undermine the 2016 election and overthrow our democracy.

Convinced that the media are all his enemies (excepting Faux News) and because they dare to criticize the lying, whoremongering, adulterous and treasonous cretin in the Oval Office, Trump has decreed that Bob Costas is a bad, bad man and he must be banished to the cornfield.

It seems like NBC got the message. Sayonara, First Amendment.
