Similarly, you could expect that if the neocons succeed in torpedoing the Iran deal, the next move would be to demand that the United States deliver an ultimatum to Iran: capitulate or get bombed. Then, if Iran balked at surrender, the neocons would say that war and "regime change" were the only options to maintain American "credibility."
The neocons are experts at leading the U.S. media, politicians and public by the nose -- to precisely the war outcome that the neocons wanted from the beginning. Hiatt is doing his part.
