The discouraging thing is that the American public's anger over President Bush's failed policies does not seem to be transferred to the McCain-Palin ticket. Public anger is simply not strong enough to prevent that same dumbed-down public from yet again buying into the GOP-Harlot's recycling of its most cherished failed value system and policies that have impoverished the rank and file citizen while only benefitting rich fat cat oligarchs, hidden behind the fa??ade of phony reform and phony feminism. .

Obama is still painted as too inexperienced while Palin, with less experience than Obama is trumpeted as having more 'executive' experience. . Meanwhile the same stupid public goes ga ga over Sarah Palin and fail to see through cynical lying and being a slick politician with an 'innocent' face. She's good at that. Real good..

So hearing the latest polls I again get that hollow feeling I got after the Swift Boaters were unleashed in '04.because the American public, or at least enough of it, is stupid enough to buy the filthy, dishonest, and jingoistic Republican message, despite eight years of disaster under that party's hegemony. Lying WORKS.if it is done cleverly enough and honesty FAILS. Barack Obama hopes that the American people will see though the deceit, but the fact that Palin has achieved such rock star status and immense popularity by reading a speechwriter's words from a teleprompter, touting a fictionalized resume and telling a lie in every line of her speech, suggests that they DO NOT see through the deceit.

The Republicans bank on an uneducated public to help them put America LAST, and the press will cooperate to assist in keeping up the Republican string of election year successes. Meanwhile, the quagmire war and the economic mess show no signs of spiralling anywhere but downwards as poverty increases. America is getting another 'fix' and future generations of our grandchildren are being financially raped and ripped off, as we all are. But it is they who will pay the bill for Republican excesses and a dumbed-down public's folly even more than we all will at present.

God help us if "nucular" John McNasty and Sarah-Mascara make it into the White House. We'd better start reading the Book of Revelations and prepare for the worst whether there turn out to be a, Democrat Congress or no. This time around it could be "game over"..

(P.S. I tried to put 'breaks' between paragraphs in this article but they disappear when I go to view, then publish the finished work)
