SUMERIOLOGY

They sacked the libraries and the museums
once again destroying collective knowledge.
Not since the burning of the library of Alexandria
has man committed such a cultural atrocity.

It's a miracle if anything of Sumer remains.
Civilization's beginnings are probably gone.
Saddam Hussein stole amargi -- freedom,
but the United States finished the job.
