THE PUPPET LOOKS NEW, THE ROUTINE HASN'T CHANGED

I don't know. Maybe Sensie's just frightened to death that his state's, like, going to be overrun one day by a massive invasion of Canadians, eh? Y'know, there, it's like virtually impossible to tell a Hosehead from a Cheesehead, okay, eh.

And those Canucks brew far superior beer, eh.

Thus, now that our King George XLIII has either made enemies with other world leaders (Hugo Chavez); pissed off the ones he had been pals with (Vladimir Putin); or caused those who stood by him no matter what to be screwed over (Tony Blair), he's running out of heads of state to get into trouble.

Well, over in Deutschland they have a relative novice at this game of diplomacy. In her own way, she's kind of like Harriet Miers. Yes, German Chancellor Angela Merkel does seem smitten with our Cowboy King.

His recent visit to Germany did not set well with the natives. As when His Excellency faces a crowd in the U.S., the people whom he saw were hand picked - all 1,000 of them. Of those, 300 were soldiers in civilian clothes.

All other residents of the community were instructed to stay indoors; shops were not allowed to open. Traffic was redirected. The hotel had even been freshly decorated with razor concertina wire around its perimeter.

The party of the Left, the Social Democrats, compared the scene to the days of Communist rule. One man compared Bush Regime policies to those of the former Soviet rulers. About 5,000 members of the party protested the presence of an American president whom they called "unerwunscht" (not wanted).

Isn't it eerie how the Christian Democrats are now the party of exclusion?

Chancellor Merkel really must give more consideration to whose company she keeps. It always seems cool to be accepted by the bully when you're the new kid, but hangin' with King George can be hazardous to one's political career.

And here we go again:

Because neither King George nor anyone else in the Fascist Regime has one ounce of diplomatic skill in their collective bodies, Israel and Lebanon have been sucked into his Middle East maelstrom.

How infantile, for the "leader" of the United States to take a side in fight.

This isn't junior high school. Neither is it an old time Texas town.

This is the 21st Century, and it takes far sterner stuff than George W. Bush is made of to handle it.

Damn it! We, the U.S., are not supposed to pick a side! We're supposed to do what Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, Dick Nixon and John Kennedy - what men of wisdom and vision did and do - get angry factions to talk before hell comes bubbling out of the earth!

But that's impossible with a Regime led by people who feel they have a divine right to kill.
