JERRY TENUTO
No other country had a welcoming committee quite like her.

She was, and remains to this day, the only woman of her kind in the World.

My Grandfather and his brother may most likely never noticed a plaque with a poem at the Statue of Liberty. Since it was written in English, to them it would have been unreadable anyway. Yet, the message was clear:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
-- (Final lines of "The New Colossus" by Emma Lazarus)

Now the King is building a fence to keep our closest neighbors, the very people with whom we share this continent, out of our country. The country that was theirs before we ran them out. And we've got armed soldiers - the military - patrolling the border with Mexico.

Well, King George and his Fascist Gangsters sure know how to get the rest of the world to hate US.

Watch out, my Canadian friends. I like you folks and your beer, even better than Corona.

HAPPY 230TH BIRTHDAY, U.S.A.!!!

Have a great Fourth of July - and grab yourself some Independence!

Shalom, mis Amigos and all you hoseheads, eh.
