This is the process by which I conceive this writing, as well as how the reader receives it. Its seminal power is inherent in the spark of conception of ideas within the reader in relationship to the content of this article. Our eyes are literally the "vaginas of the Soul." Look at the shape of the eyes. They are oval, in the same shape as the feminine genitals. Is it any wonder that women have ovaries and in their monthly process ovulate? It's sacred, not a curse. It all speaks to cosmic process and is reflected in the number "0" and the letter "O", which becomes a letting go, "Oh!" "Oh" is an open mouth. Mom and Dad make love and sing "OH!" Here you are!
Woman is the container of potential and Man is that which sparks that potential into manifestation. Can you see why suppression of the Feminine is so important to the Patriarchal/Top-Down/Standardized cultures? Consider how the civilization of the day wanted to kill Jesus Christ who was born of a virgin. Being virgin in spiritual writings throughout the world is about being empty of conditioned thoughts. It is a letting go of everything you've learned since day one. All you were taught in school and through media is let go of. "To the dump we go with our garbage!"
To help you visualize Maria Sophia via the metaphor of the Ocean (Marie, as in Marina), consider the following account of Aluna, the Great Mother Goddess of the Kogi, a South American tribe of Native Americans:

Yes, the universe came into being in accord to the Kogis when Aluna had Her period. Aluna's power to conceive is Her period. Thus we live in this "period" of time.
In Genesis 1:2 it is said the "Ruach (Spirit) moved out over the face of the Waters." This same idea is captured in the New Testament when the Holy Spirit moved over Marie in the generation of Christ, the Word (Om in Hindu) made flesh.
Marie and Sophia (infinite wisdom) are not separate. Nor are they separate from Eros, or Desire. Sophia is the Wisdom of the Unmanifest and Eros is Her Desire and our Father.
The Rig Veda states "Desire came upon that one in the beginning." Is your desire to learn about spiritual matters, which is truly about self-knowledge? Or is your desire to hoard? Desire is what stimulates the current within you and within the world. The Bible mirrors this process with the passionate cries of God "Let there BE!"." The universe, in accord to the ancient creation stories, mirrors the One who is speaking the Sound or Word. In mystic circles, this is referred to as the Flower of Life. Who reflects that power and who manifests if not the Speaker of the Word? The Speaker is one with what is Spoken.
Speaking to the Word. The Word in Hindu is "OM". In the Bible, "OM" is spoken of in Kings as a "light, humming sound." "OM" according to the Hindu Ramakrishna is the voice of Nature heard at the core of awareness. Yes, "OM" can be heard. I heard it several time in the woods of Patapsco State Park outside Baltimore Maryland when I was a kid and still hear it in natural settings.
