That they will have the tools to be an active part of that process. That small businesses have a borrowers bill of right that isn't toothless. That they have a vehicle to communicate with investigators who can help them and that they will be on more even footing in the courts.
If regulators don't pivot from their reliance on lending institution self-reporting toward a more consumer centrist view of their regulatory role the nation risks being blindsided by another crash.
One with a far heavier price to pay for the American economy.
