If the action in Iraq was illegal why is no country being taken to the International Courts? And is this why Canada and the DND refuses to answer our questions? According to the UN, arming the conflict is also illegal.
Throughout May, June and July the rebels were complaining of no arms. At the end of May, Canada had a spare 2500 C7 assault rifles and the remains of 7 million rounds of ammunition. Two months later the rebels come storming down the mountains and overrun everything in their path, fully armed, firing with an unlimited supply of ammunition and weapons.
As you watch the news clips watch for the rebels and the guns they carry. Another thing to notice is the rebels are wearing balaclava masks. This is eerily similar to the Quebec Police who attempted to incite a riot during a peaceful WTO meeting protest rally. Ask yourself, why are they hiding their identity and just who are these insurgents?
In the other Arab "Spring" countries the citizens who actually live in the Country continue their struggles. In Libya it is a very different story.
Like Gaddafi or don't like him, this is not the issue. The issue is Canada's new role as a Warmonger, not a peacemaker.
