Governor Christie is also way out of touch with his constituency. Instead of living in the Governor's Mansion in Princeton like all of his predecessors, he chooses to have his family live in Mendham, NJ. The racial makeup of the township was 95.9% White, 0.93% African American, 0.09% Native American, 2.02% Asian, 0.35% from other races, and 0.70% from two or more races. The median income for a household in the township was $136,174, and the median income for a family was $146,254. Males had a median income of $100,000 versus $57,946 for females. He also sends his kids to Catholic schools and is a proponent of vouchers so that parents can send their kids to parochial and private schools all paid by the State of New Jersey. I guess Christie doesn't want his kids mixing with rabble and doesn't trust sending them to New Jersey Public Schools like most of the rest of the kids in New Jersey do.

In 1998 Christie registered as a lobbyist for the firm of Dughi, Hewit & Palatucci, alongside fellow partner and later, gubernatorial campaign fundraiser Bill Palatucci. Between 1999 and 2001, Christie and Palatucci lobbied on behalf of, among others, GPU Energy, for deregulation of New Jersey's electric and gas industry; and the Securities Industry Association, to block the inclusion of securities fraud under the state's Consumer Fraud Act.

When you follow the money you always seem to find these fat cats with their paws all over energy and banking.   Christie's no different.

On December 7, 2001, Christie was nominated to be the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. He was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on December 20, 2001, and sworn into office on January 17, 2002.

Controversy surrounded his appointment; some members of the New Jersey Bar professed disappointment at Christie's lack of criminal law experience and his history as a top fundraiser for George W. Bush's 2000 presidential campaign. The extent of the role played by Bush's political adviser, Karl Rove, also became an issue after Christie's law partner, William Palatucci, a Republican political consultant and Bush supporter, boasted that he had selected a United States Attorney by forwarding Christie's rà ©sumà © to Rove.

Christie's biggest sin as Governor to date is what he allowed to happen to New Jerseys poorest and most crime ridden city"Camden.

Several weeks ago Camden l aid off half of its police force even though Camden has been ranked in the nation's top ten most dangerous cities for the past decade.

Located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Camden is rampant with open drug- dealing, prostitution and related crimes. More than half of Camden's 80,000 residents, mostly black and Hispanic, live in poverty.

The city was the nation's second-most dangerous based on 2009 data, according to CQ Press, which compiles such rankings. Camden ranked first the previous two years. In 2009, the city had 2,380 violent crimes per 100,000 residents -- more than five times the national average, the FBI said

Some people were happy though including this drug dealing bozo who was quoted by the local press, "F--- "em! We're happy. Lay "em all off. They can stop bothering us now."

Two nights ago I saw a story on the local news that reported that since the police layoffs in Camden, shooting and murders have spiked 50 %. And what has Governor done to try to help the situation in Camden"absolutely nothing! Under his watch he has allowed lawlessness to reign on the streets of Camden and people are dying and bleeding on the streets of New Jersey because of his "fiscal responsibility".

Beware Americans...elected officials from the Republican Party and the Tea Party are using Chris Christie's leadership model and I'm afraid that if you don't keep a close eye on your leaders your city or your state could be next one to descend into lawlessness and chaos.
