Then, the NJ Children and Families Department signed a deal with the New York University's Child Study Center, ostensibly to develop strategies to keep children from committing crimes in Essex County, New Jersey. However, The Center was connected to Big Pharma and was a front for pushing more psychotropic drugs on American children.
At the time of the 'crime prevention deal', Harold Koplewicz, the author of the superficial bestseller, It's Nobody's Fault, was the head of the NYU's Child Study Center.
Many regard the NYU Child Study Center, which Koplewicz founded and led before leaving in 2009 to start his own facility, as helping to usher in the Brave New World of pediatric medicine in which children, toddlers and infants, once expected to surpass their problems as they grew older, are now diagnosed with lifelong psychiatric problems that require life-long, prescription drugs.
Koplewicz is perhaps best known for his public advocacy of increased usage of psychotropic medications for children diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Responding to concerns about over-medication and the commercialization of psychotropic medicines, Koplewicz has argued that no studies have examined the effect of long-term use of ADHD meds even though have been in use for 70 years. He states that there is no evidence that suggests any adverse effects.
Vera Sharav, with The Alliance for Human Research Protection, stated in 2012 that The Child Study Center was "a threat to
the health and welfare of children," and its doctors are "hustlers working to
increase their 'client' population and their commercial value to psychotropic

Corzine was a founding board member of the 'Center' and even donated $2 million dollars of his, or perhaps stolen investor's money, to endow a fellowship for the Center. And guess who was on the board of the New York University's Child Study Center? Dan Neidich. Neidich's wife was the Chairwoman at the time.
For his work to subsidize the drugging of children, on December 10, 2010 The Child Mind Institute (CMI, www.childmind.org), another front for big Pharma and dope dealer to children, raised $5.1 million at its Inaugural Child Advocacy Award Dinner at the luxurious restaurant in NY, Cipriani, 42nd Street. The dinner honored then Governor, Jon Corzine with the 2010 Child Advocacy Award. President Bill Clinton was on hand to congratulate the Governor on receiving the award.
It is more than ironic and even sardonic that corporate Wall Street criminals say they seek to 'prevent crime' while they go on a financial wilding.
Alas, there is blowback from the psychotic and sociopathic behavior of the plutocratic class. In March of this year, 2014, Jon Corzine's son killed himself in a Mexico City hotel (http://nypost.com/2014/03/13/jeffrey-corzine-former-nj-govs-son-dead-at-31/). The poor young man apparently suffered from depression. Where were Harold Koplewicz and his pallet of drugs, the young man's father and his hundreds of millions?
The progression of plutocracy, violence and corruption in America
Counterfeit and dangerous consulting ensembles like Beacon Global Strategies, home of the corporate neo-cons, and deep pocket, ersatz Wall St. Super-Pacs run by and for plutocrats are now all hospices for the sociopathic corporate Democrats, as they seek even more unlimited supremacy. They are saddled-up and mobbed-up for the lynching of the American working class, and for many, the corporate Democratic Party is their party of 'choice'. They are circling their wagons around their power and wealth as the pale faces did two centuries ago in the Calvary when they went on a rampage, exploiting, dominating and enslaving Native Americans.
If you expect Hillary Clinton and her merry band of militarized super-rich to fight for a decent government, well paid jobs, an end to inequality, the rights of unions and working people, combatting climate change, advocating for disarmament, working to end world hunger and war, or campaigning for criminal justice reform, you are regrettably mistaken.
Hillary and her corporate and military patrons are working night and day to safeguard their own self- interests and line their own pockets by representing Wall Street, student loan hustlers, for-profit colleges, for-profit prisons, gangster tycoons, Agribusiness (read Monsanto), Big Oil, Big Pharma, uranium polluters, vulture capitalists, weapons manufacturers and the full spectrum dominance of the world.
These are the sociopaths, psychopaths and miscreants that run America; we are their butlers, their valets, their servants and their slaves. They are a malignant growth on the body politic of America that like a cancer, feeds on disorder and pestilence.
Only their downfall can be our windfall.
If America is to survive as a country and its people freed from the larceny and violence of a virulent ruling class then we, as people, must become refugees from slumber and rise up; for as the great emancipator, Harriet Tubman so sagaciously declared many, many years ago:
