While she is on the line with the Lord, she might want to ask Him what He thinks about waterboarding, deporting illegal immigrants, giving tax breaks to billionaires, cutting benefits to the poor and unemployed, and denying tens of millions of Americans health insurance.
William F. Buckley believed it was necessary for the GOP to rid itself of extremists to elect someone like Ronald Reagan president. There's no Reagan among the current presidential candidates. But by embracing extremism, the GOP might very well re-elect President Barack Obama.
