Lynch simply speaks the language of an apparatchik when she heaps platitudes upon the DOJ. Her fealty allows little else. She is essentially a career federal prosecutor and as such is predisposed to focus on strengthening the department and making more convictions. She appears to be incapable of overseeing any meaningful government introspection. She only sees the government, specifically her DOJ, as a force for good. And based upon the tone of her recent comments, audiences seeking relief from exactly what Loretta Lynch's DOJ dispenses as justice will have to settle for cute stories, little vignettes, and bald reminders that "things are much better now."
