Judges in Orange County are considered the worst in the United States when it comes to protecting women's rights. When a woman proves she deserves a restraining order she may get it if she is lucky. Women are saying those orders are treated as worthless by law enforcement and everyone else. After the orders Orange County judges refuse to let victims get support or the return of their property even if they is on their death beds. Orange County Lamoreaux judges are famous for letting batterers pull the plug on women who lay in hospital beds dying from their injuries. One Orange County woman is talking about doing a hunger strike to call attention to the black hole absence of human rights in that county. A bit of advice to the ladies. Women should consider driving around the county instead of entering. Any women stepping across the county line is risking a violent death.
Orange County is a Republican county and the Republicans have shown that they will allow men to torture and kill women at will. In the alternative men can rape women and demand that those women carry their babies to term. If it happens in Orange County there will be no prosecution for the rape. Those Republicans only have to answer to their God which in their case is Mars as in the God of War.
The War on Women Crosses Party Lines
The problem is not one of Democrats vs. Republicans. It is one of control, intimidation and violence. The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that the Democrats have a D in their political affiliation and pretend that they like women as they are bludgeoning them.
California is a Democratic state. Why do beaten women have fewer rights in California than any other state in the country? Where is Kamala Harris? 80,000 police officers have asked her to look into this problem and she has shown no inclination to do so. Where is Jerry Brown? Is he looking for contributions for his next campaign from wife beaters? What about Gavin Newsom or the others leaders from that state? Is Gavin too busy slicking down his hair or working on his seduction techniques for the wife of his next campaign manager?
Being a Democrat does not mean one cares about women. Look at all the women who have been raped and murdered in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya under Barack Obama. Are the misogynistic serial killers in America simply taking their lead from the President?
One Orange County woman I admire is a strong leader of the peace movement. She and her daughter have been the top organizers of peace rallies and human rights events in Orange County over the last decade. We suspected that there might be some sinister reason for the black eyes and bruised faces but it took a long time for the truth to come out. It turns out that when they went home a violent man beat them and threatened to kill all the women in the family if they ever told about the violence. I wish we had done something about our suspicions before the violence got so bad that one woman in their family wound up dying and the other two continue to fear they will be next. Their assailant continues to thrive. He took their money and uses it to torment them. The police recommended prosecution but Rackaucakas dropped the case. The assailant sends emails to his victims' friends advising them that only evil women get restraining orders against men. Democrats don't shun him. Instead he has been allowed to moderate hundreds of Democratic yahoo groups. You probably belong to at least one of the groups that man moderates. How do we fix the problem? We don't fix it by letting men tell women when and where they can get pregnant. We don't fix it by making sure male batterers have equal rights with female victims. We don't fix it by pretending 100 pound women are running around beating up 250 pound men. Man up. Let's stop the jokes and lies about women. Let's give women equal respect when they run for office. Let each of us demand that batterers be locked away as the violent criminals they are. These brutes can take the incarcerated places of drug offenders currently serving time for non violent crimes.
