AN UNUSUAL MUSICAL TALE

1.      The accompaniment included a "counter melody" which, in this case started with a descending major scale.

2.     The tempo was brisk (not "draggy," the way Edison wanted the melody played).

 

There are many other fascinating tales about the tunes we love.   I intend to present them regularly   in this space.
