We also have the domestic side of this President. In six years he has done everything he could have possibly done to destroy the American Constitution. He has passed the Patriot Act that allows the government to search your home without a warrant and without your knowledge. He has used the NSA to wiretap communications between American citizens without going through the FISA Court set up expressly for this purpose. He has passed the Military Commissions Act of 2006 that makes it OK to extract information from an individual in any way. Torture is viewed as anything that could lead to organ failure. Anything short of organ failure is not torture. The same MCA 2006 takes away the right under Habeas Corpus for “anyone suspected” of being a terrorist. That means that anyone the government “suspects” of being a terrorist has no right to see the charges against them, no right to a lawyer, and no right to a jury of their peers. This was originally part of The Magna Charta. You remember that leftist propaganda you learned in school?

Then there is the Insurrection Act. This give the President control of the State’s National Guard’s over the wishes of the Governors’ of the States for law enforcement powers. This effectively eliminates Posse Comitatus that was incorporated into the constitution in order that there is a separation of powers from the State and Federal Government. Now this President can declare Martial law and federalize the States National Guard for law enforcement. There are other things that this President has done. Rendition flights to Romania and Syria so that these countries can torture suspected “terrorists” without involving American law enforcement. (Except for the free ride in the unmarked chartered plane, courtesy of the CIA). The two new Executive Orders, The first says that the government cannot be subpoenaed by Federal Attorneys because they were hired by the executive branch and “Executive Privilege” stops them from doing so. The second is that anyone interfering with the Pacification of Iraq could have their assets taken from them by the Treasury Secretary here or anywhere in the world. The language is very broad on that one, it could mean practically anything.

So now maybe you can understand why your fellow Americans are getting a little nervous. I didn’t mention Valerie Plame or the weapons of mass destruction that were not found in Iraq, or the hundreds of signing statements that this President wrote so that he can comfortably ignore the legislation he signs. I would however like to mention his new Presidential Directive that makes him the head of the Judicial, Legislative and Executive Branches of government in the event of an emergency, but members of Congress have asked him what those emergencies consist of, and he won’t tell them. So I guess we will just have to “trust him” like we have “trusted” him so many times before.

Bush and Cheney are pushing for a war in Iran, while their Saudi friends are allowing Saudi organizations to bestow benefits on the families of suicide bombers that kill American Servicemen and Shiite Iraqi’s. Most of the suicide bombers that can be identified in Iraq are Saudi Citizen’s. Most of the hijackers of 9/11 were Saudi citizens also.

So my Republican friends, all I’m asking you to do is to read this information and check every word of it. This isn’t left wing jargon, it’s the truth. If you can’t handle the truth, you shouldn’t claim your right to vote. The Constitution is in trouble, “That old rag” that President Bush calls it has served our nation well for the past 321 years. I am a retired Army soldier, not a radical left winger. Please check out everything I’ve said and contact you elected representatives. We need the Republican side of Congress to work with us. Especially those that want our Constitution and our Human rights back. We love America just as you do. We don’t want other nations looking down at us. We want to be proud of our nation again. Don’t You?
