It's Never Enough For Bush and His Minions In Iraq

It is not America's cause to remain in Iraq to fight those Iraqis who would call themselves 'al-Qaeda'. The administration's fight against the specters of 9-11 is a continuation of the original crusade of Bush and his minions to intimidate someone, somewhere, away from continued acts of violence against us by administering his own destabilizing, counter-productive dose of 'shock and awe'.

It's not enough for the White House that their blundering has brought us to this self-defeating point. They're determined that we magnify the mayhem with even more military madness. While Congress debates the politics of setting benchmarks for the obstinate Iraqi regime, Bush is busy waging a much different battle against an ideology in Iraq. As they cynically echo the terrorists' taunts, they elevate the fugitive band of 9-11 thugs to a position of adversity reserved for nations and armies who would amass against us; the influence of the terrorists' five-year freedom from prosecution inspiring generations to oppose our intimidating presence in the region.

It's not enough for this administration that they've threatened the safety and security of the nation throughout the entirety of their term in office with their swaggering militarism. It's not enough that over 3400 American lives have been sacrificed in Iraq. It's never enough for bumbling megalomaniacs to acknowledge the consequences of their actions. Even in their epic failures, there's more than enough room for them to lord their inextricable role in it all over the rest of us as they egg us on to defend our own interests in their circular aggression.

The elevation of yet another general -- a 'war czar' -- to take the heat for those things the military can't possibly accomplish, will amount to nothing more than one more parrot willing to oblige Bush with another 'way forward' in Iraq. At any rate, a 'war czar' is going to be looking to use our military to expand the mission of those already hunkered-down defending the territory that hosts the embattled Iraqi regime to wage the administration's manufactured battle against any and all who would sacrifice their lives in the name of Bush's most prominent enemy.

Bush is determined there be a war in Iraq when he leaves office, and it won't be enough that his aggression has succeeded in increasing the threat to our national security with his escalated occupation. He's posturing for a long war as he elevates opportunistic thugs to recognition as national enemies. It's never enough with this bunch as they push forward against the will of the American people, behind the continued sacrifices of our nation's defenders.
