More to the point, their native lands have been permanently contaminated by mining and so-called military "testing" of these Uranium weapons – quite literally right in their very backyards!
We have indeed "wasted" unfathomable numbers of Native Americans’ lives in states such as NM, CO, WY, NV, UT and AZ. This is undoubtedly a pill, in years to come, that Americans eventually must learn to swallow. One could even say this knowledge comes with a bitter, heavy-metal aftertaste – that lasts, quite literally, forever.
The first settlers who came to America historically tried to tame our Native inhabitants, who they apparently considered the “savage beast”. The United States government has been since accused of abusing who they used to call “the Bad Man” in “a system of heinous abuse and genocide perpetrated upon Native Americans by the United States which lasted until the late twentieth century.” With this issue of Uranium mining and widespread military “testing” in ancestral Native Americans’ lands, however, it could indeed be argued that genocide by Uranium poisoning of our indigenous peoples continues to this very day.
Sadly, as anyone who studies radiation knows, what is deceitfully spun in the US media as “weakly” or “mildly radioactive” Uranium has the unmistakable effect of creating irreparable havoc and devastation upon human cells. Research has shown that inhalation and ingestion of microscopic Uranium particles cause cell mutation which affects genetic material.
So, in effect, it is not merely the current generation of indigenous Americans whose health is destroyed, but rather, all future generations of offspring. This is a horrible reality Americans of conscience (the non-psychopaths among us) have to face. While Americans have been busily working by day and enjoying mindless pop-culture distracting amusements by night, we actually have, in effect, slept through this entire life-destroying radiological and “nuclear age”. As a result, the genetic future health of America has been permanently, irrevocably altered.
Hopefully, Australia will not follow in America’s disgraceful footsteps and “waste” their own native inhabitants as our own government has done. May we all take up the task of both domestic and international Uranium radiation education - and help Australia and other nations learn from America’s mistakes - before it is too late!
