All I know is that my idea is quite inexpensive, but will prove the same result that all the big wallets are vying for. All I need is time and sunshine. I do know I can grow algae, because it grows freely in my water jug I use to water my tomato’s with.  I do have bags hanging now, but I just put them up, and it takes a bit for the algae to start producing. Another great business to start would be to find different strains or kinds of algae and grow them to sell to people who want to setup their own backyard process. I'm letting people know they can do this stuff on their own in their own backyard, without being blinded by the proverbial big corporate energy councils who are always pontificating.

Other questions come to mind such as if algae are the basis of fossil oil, how does that compare toward eliminating pollution? Wouldn't algae oil pollute the same way? Or is the new Oil different than the black gold stuff, when burned? It's probably different, and cleaner, and maybe they have some sort of refining like they use in refining fossil oil. If that is the case, then they will really cut back ethanol production. I doubt they will totally stop ethanol production, because many people farm and live on ethanol in the Midwest .

Now that bio-energy has taken off...which I am trying to do it on my own, I also have other plans. I think they are far better and more superior to the bio-energy route. This is why Global Warming is a Blessing.

Let me explain......................

I wonder if anyone has thought of using the space station in orbit to make dry ice. A long hose or pipe could be directed or dropped into the outer atmosphere where CO2 buildup is a problem. The space station sucks CO2 in with a vacuum, and makes dry ice then literally shoots the dry ice toward the moon.  At least we would be removing CO2 from our atmosphere and reducing greenhouse gases. I do not know what happens to dry ice in space, although I suspect the same as what happens when in a vacuum on earth. It sublimates. Solarpanels could provide the energy to compress the CO2 in our atmosphere to change into dry ice, so we can remove the excess buildup.

Now NASA has a purpose and mission for its program, instead of allocating money simply to blast into space for what?  Environmentalist are more prone to not support NASA, because it is like a big club for elitist that are on a joy ride around the world, with really nothing substantial proving any benefit to their money spent for people who would benefit from it on earth. Without a purpose NASA has been failing. But now this gives them one and brings them a real agenda.

Now this is what is really interesting, because what I am saying is that Global CO2 buildup is a good thing, not a bad thing. Why because it is fuel for the space program.   CO2 or Carbon Dioxide can be split to make "CO which is Carbon Monoxide." CO can be used as a fuel. CO2 can also be made into a liquid which makes it a hands on product to work with. If compressed enough it becomes dry ice. Both liquid CO2 and dry ice can provide fuel for the space program, while sucking out the CO2 from our atmosphere.

If dry ice or its liquid can be produced in space; dry ice or liquid can be converted to CO to provide the fuel for any shuttle craft. It can be reused, because when CO is burned it turns back to CO2. Certainly CO2 is much lighter in weight than water or the hydrogen process.  No one has thought of this!

By having the CO2 built up in our atmosphere it becomes the space programs fuel tank or supply. It’s already up there, no need in spending trillions hauling it up from the earth surface. Pretty good I think.

The thing is managing the trapped CO2 up there. What I mean is; that as much is being produced on earth going up, the same should be converted in space to make liquid CO2 or Dry Ice. It can be a fuel for the shuttles, or gathered as solids to be glided to the moon, or directed to the sun to be burnt up.

This has great potential, because if we use the CO as a fuel, what need for gasoline, what need for ethanol, what need for Algae Oil?  This is far superior to Algae Oil, and it promotes the space program, our great future and frontier. Now we have a defined purpose and goal for our society. We end the debates and focus on our dreams  I am so excited about this because; now we have a gas that is reusable once it’s burned to be used over again. Think of the distance space travel that can be achieved!!

We have to take this route because undeveloped countries are the ones hurt by conservation methods. Americans will never conserve. How is Iraq to come out of its troubles, without using its Oil as a resource? We need to allow CO2 gas release in the atmosphere to help other countries. The key is managing its buildup in the outer atmosphere. This is where the space program vacuums in CO2; changes it to dry ice, and either uses it as a fuel resource or sends it out of the atmosphere to the moon or sun to be burnt up and destroyed. This reduces CO2 buildup in our earths atmosphere.

 Convert Carbon Dioxide into Fuel  •

     CO2   +   C +heat  ==>     2 CO

Professor Kubiak: The idea that you need to have solar to accomplish the required electrical needs is not necessary; because you are using solar energy to make a fuel that will be used in an engine anyway. Really you are thinking to use the electrical generation from solar as the heat inducer. I think it is not necessary.

What you need is to have an engine that is running on CO fuel. The engine provides the needed heat to transform or split the CO2 atom against the two thin layer catalysts.  Whether you use the engine as the heat source or to power a small electric generator, you can achieve the split. In fact the CO can be used to fuel the engine. What is the engine? The engine is a/the satellite that orbits the earth.
