The lawsuit accuses the federal government of an "...attempt to block constitutional violations from being reviewed by court and is thoroughly unconstitutional and it must be barred."
The common thread in all of these cases is an appearance of capriciousness, bias or contempt for the citizen's right to have his or her day in an impartial court. Emphasis on IMPARTIAL.
One judge refused to issue a restraining order for a domestic violence victim: her estranged husband killed her. Another judge refused to act and issue a contempt citation to the government's attorney: a farmer lost his land. And still another judge openly insults a black family who came before his court seeking justice, calling them a "sack of jigaboos". Their land landed in the hands of somebody else.
These citizens–the ones who are still alive to talk about it, believe that the courts failed them. One died, the other two lost land because judges failed to enforce their Constitutional rights. Discovery was ignored. Restraining orders were not ordered; one judge showed his contempt in open court by insulting land owners who were in his court to seek enforcement of their property rights.
These and other acts from the judiciary around the country have led many Americans to believe that there is no such thing as justice "for the little guy" in this country. And this, is the greatest insult of all. Not only is it an insult, but it is a danger to the very foundations of the American Republic.
When people give up on the courts, when people believe that they can get no justice from the courts, when people believe the system is tainted, corrupt and full of arrogant, self-serving crooks, they don't bother to file a complaint. They don't seek justice because they don't believe the system is just.
