The critical and fundamental point is that ethnic background and/or composition should NOT make a difference. It does NOT make a difference to me. The bottom line is that I am an American...and proud of it!
That is who I am and what I am. Now, with your cooperation, I hope I can just be a golfer and a human being.

“I am an American.” Tiger Woods is wise beyond his years. His parent's are a role model for what all parents should strive for. Tiger his a living testament to his parent strong moral values and strict upbringing. This incident has caused one reporter to be suspended for two-weeks, and a magazine editor to be fired, both of which were over reactions. In fact, as I was writing this article I found myself being concerned that I might say something that would offend someone.....and that is never a good place to be in a society dedicated to the open exchange of ideas.
