Are we so naive to think that Obama and a majority of Democrats in the House would overnight turn the economic crises into Nirvana?

Have we forgotten the struggles that we have had to fight every inch of the way - on every issue - against obstructionist Republicans?

Have we turned into wimps that at the first sign of challenge we run for the hills, forsake our ideals, and call it quits?

Why are we always apologizing, and what are we apologizing for? For saving America's economy from total economic collapse? For fighting against corporate lobbyists tooth and nail for healthcare for those that can't afford it and healthcare rules that are fair for those that already pay too much for it? For being sane and rational when it comes to our security and national defense instead of making rash decisions based on emotion and fear? For fighting for equal rights for all people? For defending the constitutional rights given to women?

Why are we backing down? Why are we letting Republicans get away with lying over and over? Why aren't we calling them out? Why are we so timid in defending Obama's work? Are we afraid we will be labeled that dirty word "liberal"?

Senator Kennedy was proud to be called a liberal and we should be too. Are you going to let Republicans diminish the ideals that you believe in just because they constantly attack them? Are intelligent people supposed to believe a lie just because it is told over and over? and do we back down just because the fearful and uneducated demand that we do so (even when we know that we are truly the only ones fighting on their behalf?)

No. We are better than that and we need to have the spine to show it! The best way that we can support our ideals is to vote for those that share them and not lose sight of the goal just because of the roar from the right and a few setbacks.

Vote Democrat and let the Republicans hear us Roar!

I am just a person giving my opinion, although I have been accused of working for the Obama administration in voilation of the FTC (lol). I love reading differing views and trying to seek out the "needle" truth in the media "haystack". I'm (more...)
