Forget the phone banking and turn to many other strategies, like door to door, like talking with 30 people a day, and like winning the Battle of the Editorial pages, for example.
Have massive forensic preparations re: Voting Machine Integrity, and ask Bob Fitrakis to be in charge of much of that for the DNC. The DNC needs Greg Palast and Rob Kall as some its top advisers.
Don't fail to prosecute the Clinton trolls and hackers who by posting child pornography and then getting their shills to complain about it, succeeded in entirely shutting down 7 huge Bernie Groups on Facebook the night before a Tuesday with 5 state primaries; will they be punished? They were heads of a group Clinton paid $1 million to for the purpose of "Social Media Re-education"!
How to not forget the really big DNC big shots, like one powerful one here serving at high levels in the New Mexico legislature who told me I should be voting for HRC because he didn't want to see Trump elected, even persisting when I told him the polls showed otherwise. Another one is a former five-term Democratic US Senator who told me he didn't believe that Obama reigned in the FBI, and was oblivious to the polls saying only Bernie could beat Donald Trump.
I must say, in assessing blame, please don't forget the fiasco in the NY voter purges of one third of a million voters, orchestrated long before that state's primary I believe by West Chester County Congresswoman Nita Lowey and her realtor daughter (who sold the brownstone tenement for $6 million for the chief voter purger at the Bureau of Elections).
Don't forget the Attorney General of New York , Eric Schneiderman, who ignored the 7000 petition signers asking him to go to Federal Court to get an order for a new primary to replace the one with the purged votes, and I never will understand why two other lawyers, Preet Bharara, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Bernie's Lawyer, Brad Deutsch, never responded to hundreds of sincere, well-informed people writing to them to redo the NY primary, which was fatally flawed the minute those voters were purged in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and elsewhere in New York. Brad Deutsch was asked repeatedly to go to Federal Court to repair and redo the TWELVE states' primaries in which election fraud was thoroughly documented.
Many said sadly that the Fix was in, but that doesn't mean that the Broken has become permanent!
Rob Kall is right: there were certainly many things Obama could and should have done differently, and I mean just within the realm of partisan politics, by failing to even begin to criticize the DNC chairman at that time.
How to correct it in the 21 months before the midterms? Assess the blame, yes, but move on and learn from history, or it is doomed to repeat itself.
George Santayana wrote 'those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it," and Edmund Burke wrote in Revolution in France that "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look backward to their ancestors."
