According to a recent report, Americans are down on the economy too. Americans are feeling bad about their prospects even though spending is up. I guess Americans can no longer put off buying some things they need even if they have to use what little credit they have to get it.
So the same people that brought us the Iraq War, pretend growing economies that were in recession (the recession hit in December of 2007), and green shoots of recovery are now saying don't worry be happy. Things are good and getting better.
I know the New York Times and the other managed media outlets have a close relationship with the government so they are only telling us what they are supposed to tell us. That is real media integrity and I am thankful for it. Still I have to find a way to look beyond the economic suffering and just believe in the economists.
Oh, those are the same economists that didn't see the economic collapse and didn't warn us about speculative bubbles. But they know what they are talking about and I can only feel abnormally bad.
Things are so good but I feel so bad.
I wonder why?
It has to be a chemical imbalance.
