The Augusta Coalition for Peace and Justice and Mary Baldwin College have invited Ann Wright and David Swanson to speak at Mary Baldwin College's Francis Auditorium at 101 E. Frederick St. at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 23.
Swanson is a well-known speaker and writer. He has publicly spoken out against the war in Iraq and the Bush administration's actions surrounding the Iraq war.
This event is free and open to the public. Copies of Wright's book will be available for purchase.
