When a man kills another,
They say he should die,
But I don't understand,
I just ask why?
An eye for an eye,
And a tooth for a tooth,
God's wonderful love..... wrapped up in,
The Bible".. some say it's The Truth!
I shudder to think,
How our military commands,
Why we are killing so many people,
In so many different lands.

I shudder to think,

Why we are killing so many people,
In so many different lands.
What can we expect,
Our children to think,
If we excuse killing,
With a nod and a wink.
We've got to do a better job,
Of learning how to live,
Why not love each other,
While teaching our children how to forgive.
Those of us who're out,
Must show those who're in,
How to live life,
While committing less sin.
And if that doesn't work,
And that's not the case,
Then nothing makes any sense,
And life is a disgrace!
So why not go back,
To the parable at the beginning,
In Eden-like splendor,
Let's try to stop sinning.
This is my proposition,
And perhaps I'm insane,
But if this doesn't work,
Believe me"". society is lost, and it will go down the drain!
