When the media and the nation was swallowing the BushCheney's deflection of their failure on 9/11 by.going after Hussein and Iraq, by attacking anyone who disagreed with the Bush strategy as being unAmerican and an agent of appeasement, Howard Dean stood up and rallied Americans who opposed the constitutional violations of the Bush administration and the war in Iraq.
Dean was taken out after the Iowa primary by the patent media lies about the so called Dean "scream"..............and the mainstream Democratic party's rallying around John Kerry. Dean had a fifty state strategy and grassroots internet campaign that gave voice to those who opposed the disgraceful turn of events that resulted in the war in Iraq..........and the failure to capture BinLaden.
President-elect Obama and his team took the Dean strategy to another level and for that he and Howard Dean deserve all the credit..
Howard Dean deserves a place at the table in the Obama administration as a brave, prescient and competent former Governor without whom there would be no President-elect Obama.
Give 'em hell, Howard! Welcome to the Obama nation!

Dean selected him to be a member of the first "Dean Dozen", a slate of candidates supported by Dean's organization, "Democracy For America."
DFA contributed money. DFA sent a tech team to set up Obama's web-site. Dean stumped for Obama. Etc. Etc. Etc. Then, start to consider the internet-funding, meet-ups, etc. and, most of all, the message. Then, start to consider the 50-State Strategy, which Dean invented and worked his a** off for 4 long years as DNC Chair. Ain't no doubt about it, ask any former Deaniac - Obama 2008 was Dean 2.0, and I hope Obama remembers who his friends were back in the day.
