Below is a same day text message conversation between Rob Kall* and Muhammad:

*Rob Kall = me

Sent at 8:32 AM on Monday

me:  Can you provide more details about what has happened to your house, to your neighborhood and about threats you have received?

Muhammad:  Yes, my house has been hit in the cross-firing between the terrorists and security forces. It has been destroyed completely. Luckily my wife and my children remained safe. But a lot of people mostly women and children have been killed in the firing. Now most of the people are living in the refugee camps established in Peshawar. But my children and wife are still living in Bajaur Agency. Now the peace has returned to my areas, but I have no resources to build the house. I think I am a victim of war on terror. Though I remained staunch supporter of war on terror, but still I am also the victim

me:  who was firing the weapons that destroyed your house?

Muhammad:  I think the security forces firing hit my house. Terrorists were also retaliating the firing, but I will blame the security forces

me:  you mean government forces were firing at Taliban? or at Al Qaeda? were any of your neighbors killed?

Sent at 8:40 AM on Monday

Muhammad:  Actually Taliban were employed by Al-Qaeda. They were Al-Qaeda men. Yes, I have lost a lot of friends and neighbors. It is really a great tragedy for me. Due to the stress and depression I have lost the job I was writing against the game being played by the rulers so they influenced the editor of the newspaper to fire me from job. Actually some of them have still been playing the game

Sent at 8:43 AM on Monday

Muhammad:  There was a time when I brought this issue into the notice of officials in Islamabad. I hold to the officials that Pakistani agencies have been deceiving you. This is the reason I always remained the victim

Sent at 8:44 AM on Monday

me:  why not contact the security forces. Maybe they can help you.

Sent at 8:47 AM on Monday

Muhammad:  I think the security forces will only help me if they are asked by the high-ups. If they are asked by the rulers in Islamabad. The rulers in Islamabad will help me if they are asked by the US Embassy. A few words from the US Embassy can change the situation. I think the US embassy can ask them very easily. I think officials in the US Embassy will be knowing me as I have visited the Embassy twice in the past. I think they may have the record about me as I have given them my ID card. I think the US embassy can help me
