Mulling Over Republican Wedge Issues at Eleven Weeks Out

We must reorder justice in the United States so that it once again becomes a nation ruled by law rather than a police apparatus concentrated on the subjugation of We the People while the financially and politically powerful have license to plunder to their heart's content.

We must address the entwined issues of energy and ecology to provide for a survivable, affordable and sustainable future for the children to whom we owe this planet.

After thirty years of neglect it is necessary that we address all of these issues simultaneously and we can ill afford to do so without consensus on the direction that we must take. Counter intuitively, if we are all pulling in different directions while squabbling over non-issues, we will still all go over the same cliff.
