Yet, the movie also shows us the consequences to the complacency inherent in our "shop till you drop" campaigns. The result is nothing less than the sociopathic bombing, machine-gunning and murder of children, women and men.
Yes, we can no longer afford to merely "occupy." We must also change ourselves...as John Lennon and Paul McCartney say in the song, "Revolution" -- "you better free your mind instead."
What we are programmed to think is real -- the virtual reality of news shows, video games and shop till you drop campaigns need to come to an end. If we are to occupy, it must be more than Wall Street. It must be, ultimately, our own minds and souls. To reclaim our minds and souls is to also reclaim the minds and souls of future generations. It all starts at home.
