"Our universe a Deity has, sitting outside to make it
And also life is so complex, they're needed just to bake it
But complex is as complex does, the logic is unbending
God must have God and God again Hallelujah never ending"
"If our universe can be explained by precepts organizing
We have no need of gods or saints or clergy patronizing
Ala Laplace we'll reject that hypothesis as hokum
And slice away unneeded fat with razor ala Occam
And yet, although the argument clearly trumps the drivel
I feel my satisfaction with it slowly start to shrivel
I start to think our argument can stand upon its head
And our petard might hoist both ways and lift us up instead
