With these steps, we approach a true democracy, with the best chance of reflecting the will and interests of the people.

When the people must look at the candidates and their plans and positions, rather than to a propaganda blitz, to make their choices, there is a good chance that reasonably informed voters will choose the best candidates for the people and the country, and honest, competent leaders can be elected.
