Grow Your Own

Nobody's perfect. After an impressive period of economic development, the Chinese have fallen to the capitalistic bugaboo of recession. They fear awesome retaliation from unemployed workers and rightly so. Expectations were allowed to rise that every day would be sunny. Nobody warned there might be rain.

The Americans leaped from bubble to bubble without an idea that all of it could burst. They allowed an elite 0.1% of the population to control Washington, the means of production and most of the national treasure. In a matter of weeks the savings of a lifetime flew out the window as worthless papers on the wind. America exported her failures beggaring the world.

Maybe, it is for the better. If the people seize control of their lives, they may learn how to grow their own.
