My 2 primary questions are: Are we happy and secure in the world we live in? Can we evolve out of this mess?
I believe we can. But, it will change only if we to awaken to the pattern and change it.
I do know that the pattern we are under is grounded in the philosophy of divide and conquer. I could name several patterns of relationships that would hopefully reveal that pattern. Some examples are:
1. *The absurd notion of the battle of the sexes, male and female;
2. *The absurd notion of the battle of right wing and left wing. To show the absurdity of this, take your right hand and slap the left side of your face while shouting at the mirror: "YOU EVIL PIECE OF Sh*T!
3. *The absurdity of various institutions of religions warring with one another.
After all, the epistemological meaning of religion is to connect or bind together. What we have are warring philosophies about spirituality and not true religion. Making love, playing with one's child, and sunbathing clothed in a bathing suit or not clothed are acts of religion. Listening to a man or woman spouting divisive theologies from high on the pulpit is oftentimes anchored in self-righteous arrogance. Notice I say often and not always.
4. *In line with the above, also consider the self-righteous arrogance of a scientific theorist who can't see the remarkable spiritual teachings across the world from Asia to the Americas.
Again, there is no all-or-nothing to my remark. I know of several scientists who do embrace spirituality and write and speak on it.
