The success of building this broad based progressive coalition, and the resulting outcomes, including the election of Mark Dayton, represent a blueprint for future coalition building that large scale campaigns can follow in the future.
One question left unanswered by the presenters is how to translate this kind of organizing to campaigns further down the food chain. It is one thing to organize behind a single office, and another entirely to bring that success to other races up and down the political food chain.
