Now when anyone, say President Barack Obama, proposes raising taxes on the wealthy, he/she is accused of engaging in class warfare.
What Republicans are really opposing is any change in the current class welfare state.
By defending class welfare, Republicans are in fact engaging in class warfare. That is, the monied elite battering the economic status of the middle and poverty classes. Civil rights of middle and lower class people are affect ed too.
In short, Republicans accuse Democrats of engaging in class warfare when it's suggested that class welfare be ended.
So, you get to decide which poses the greater threat to America: welfare kings in their limos running off with the U. S. treasure or welfare queens driving Cadillacs collecting a few bucks?
