'Disinformation teams in Iran initially developed their tactics while manipulating domestic political conversation before gradually expanding operations to include more languages, more themes and foreign targets. Mueller warned that 'many more countries' were likely to target disinformation at U.S. voters in 2020 And Iran is far from the only nation that has, within its borders, substantial capacity to wage influence operations here ahead of next year’s election. That means American voters are likely to be targeted in the coming campaign season by more foreign disinformation than ever before, say those studying such operations.The nations hosting significant disinformation capabilities typically first saw them active in seeking to manipulate domestic audiences, shaping public perceptions in line with regime propaganda. '

So, let's see now: Instead of concerning myself with the real and thoroughly DOCUMENTED threats such as rigged, manipulable voting machines, politicians bought and paid for by Big Business, voting district jerrymandering and candidates who lie religiously to the American public about their policies, I'm instead supposed to fret endlessly about some foreigner on a laptop sending out misleading and biased 'tweets' ? Ok, I'm an American, I'm stupid enough to fall for that...
