Some of the key differences between the situation under the Obama administration and the one under Trump.: Horrific stories continue to stream in from the Southern border, where Customs and Border Protection is detaining hundreds of migrant children, separated from their families, in sickening conditions.  As concerned citizens have voiced outrage at the Trump administration, activists have also pointed out that much of this isn’t new—the Obama administration also had infamously brutal immigration policies... there IS a difference, like the  the Homeland Security Department, Defense Department and Justice Department, requested $4.5 billion to help care for the growing number of migrant children who are in shelters.4. billions needed to remedy this and house migrants waiting for the to appeal to our laws.'

Of all the arguments out there, the 'waddabout this' use of alternative 'facts' to alter the reality of inhumanity and minimize something unprecedented to make a political point is one I hear very often.

In order to equate opinion with truth, the smash-mouths often point the finger elsewhere-- a Trump tactic of distraction.

But what is happening at our borders, in a nation of immigrants has never happened before. I was born in 1941 and I remember that Roosevelt turned away Jewish immigrants escaping Hitler's Final Solution.

But This IS different... so different that ICE refused to do it in some states, and some states sued, refusing to be part of this 'solution', to fulfill Trump's political agenda to appeal to the haters to whom he told his immigrant rant!

And if every new president can undo everything that came before his reign, including the very Rule of Law that made us the envy of the world, and the go-to place to invest in -- then we get to see individual states object, as California does -- as the E.P.A. Finalizes Its Plan to Replace Obama-Era Climate Rules.

Tennesse and Kentucky show what happens when the rules and laws of federal government hurt people. Tenn. made war on the ACA (named OBAMAcare), and thus, millions of people with real conditions have no where to go as their insurance disappeared; but, Kentucky saw insurance rates drop as people are able to get medicare.
