Winter weather persists in Our Nation's Capital, but the
cherry blossoms have arrived, with the Festival scheduled for the end of the month. Will they survive the cold to be there by then or will things turn ugly? Only time will tell, and DC's economic prospects may shiver along with the trees. The temperature is above freezing but the wind chill sends it down below. Of course, there is also the Trump factor. His presence might interfere with their fabled display or, heaven forbid, he could turn against the Japanese and have them chopped down--no lie.
