Trump is making life more difficult and dangerous for active service members. He’s making the world a worse place for innocent civilians and our own soldiers in order to make a ham-handed political point and goose his gormless throng of cultists.

Lieu: You’ve never served. Military juries will convict members for war crimes based not just on morality. We who’ve served know that killing civilian children, women & seniors makes it harder to secure the peace & is a great recruiting tool for terrorists.

He was going after the First Amendment and the free press, going after the legitimacy of the judiciary, suppressing internal dissent and then lying at a rate I’ve never seen a human being lie, taking us down the road to authoritarianism, and I decided I’m just going to not normalize what should not be normalized.”
