Brushing aside pleas from some of his fellow Republicans, Sen. Bob Corker hasn’t changed his mind about retirement and won’t seek re-election. Corker spent a good part of last year in a public, sometimes nasty feud with Trump. At one point, Trump mocked the senator as “Liddle” Bob Corker and argued he couldn’t get elected dog catcher. The two have since reached a détente of sorts. But if Corker was to re-enter the race and stand a chance of winning, some analysts said he would need to win the approval of Trump, who remains popular in Tennessee.
