 Rob Kall's comment on this OEN piece suggested further development of the "idea of a decision at the convention to re-apportion counting of delegates from closed primary states."  This article expands on that suggested rule change in light of Sanders' significant, even strategic, change of tone in negotiating with the DNC on Friday. 

This article attempts to explore the missing middle in the ongoing debate over the false dichotomy whether to "vote for Clinton" or to select one of the options for abandoning the Democrats.  The real question is what would the Democrats have to do before the election to demonstrate that it is worth saving from the results of disunity that its leadership is now courting.
