Do you like the idea of a universal basic income? Do you have friends/relative/coworkers who identify as conservative?

If both are true, point them to this article. It makes conservative (and environmental) arguments for giving every citizen a dividend check from the government every month.

(Warning: if you are a typical Oped News reader, you will dislike the language of this article. It was not written for you. I am trying to push the idea to both Left and Right. Different language for different audiences.)
