In an online report the AP reports: "Disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff says his lifestyle of trading favors for expensive gifts crossed the line, even by Washington standards, but he says he's not a bad man."
Depending on one's view of human nature, I can imagine that Jack Abramoff is not a "bad man." However, he did very bad things.
And my question is this: what motivated his actions? What was this guy's thinking or mindset that he would engage in these types of corrupt behaviors?
The question of whether a person is good or bad strikes me as overly simplistic. What was this guy thinking??
