The notion that asking the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate questions, let alone talking to her, is somehow sexist is simply absurd.
The notion that criticizing the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate's positions, policies, and public record is sexist is also absurd.
If Governor Palin can not address media questions or withstand the criticism of her opponents, then she is either not qualified to be a vice-presidential candidate, or she is being used as a deflector---via disingenuous and false allegations of sexism ad absurdum, or both.
Regardless of the posturing and photo-ops, Sarah Palin needs to start speaking in her own voice and be held accountable to the American voting public. And if Democrats continue to allow John McCain to hide behind her and a facade of sexism, they deserve to lose.
